Theatrical Intimacy Education is growing.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed periodically throughout the year.

All tuition costs are waived for TIE faculty, graduate assistants, and interns. All positions are paid and Graduate Assistants and Faculty receive an annual travel stipend.

Assistant Faculty

Assistant Faculty members are experienced teachers training in TIE Best Practices. Assistant Faculty will assist Associate and Head Faculty in workshops, receive ongoing training, and work towards accreditation and certification. One-year renewable appointment with opportunities for promotion to Associate Faculty.

Minimum Requirements

  • Professional Educator (part or full time). Applicants from diverse teaching experiences welcome.

  • Experience with TIE Best Practices

  • Collegial, Collaborative, Curious

  • Willing to travel

Ideal Qualifications

  • Professional acting, directing, choreographing, stage management experience

  • Teaching in Higher Education

  • Interest in developing research and/or writing in theatrical intimacy best practices

Graduate Assistant

Graduate Assistants assist in workshops, receive ongoing training, and work towards accreditation and certification. Successful GAs may be considered for Assistant Faculty positions. One-year renewable appointment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Graduate Student or recent graduate (within the past two years)

  • Experience with TIE Best Practices

  • Collegial, Collaborative, Curious

  • Willing to travel

Ideal Qualifications

  • Interest in pursuing career in Higher Education

  • Interest in developing research and/or writing in theatrical intimacy best practices

Intern

Interns are assigned specific duties in line with their interests and skills. Internships are paid a stipend, variable in length, and renewable.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience with TIE Best Practices

  • Collegial, Collaborative, Curious

  • 18+ years of age

Ideal Qualifications

  • Willing to travel

  • Interest in pursuing Graduate Assistantship or Assistant Faculty position in the future
