TIE offers a Digital Workshop on TIE’s tried-and-true techniques for bringing theatrical intimacy work into the classroom and rehearsal studio, handling tricky casting situations, and writing a policy for your department or theatre company.

Theatrical Studio Techniques picks up where Best Practices leaves off. This workshop will explore vulnerability in a professional and respectful manner, and clarify the distinction between discomfort and personal boundaries. Casting and policy will cover industry protocols, our casting Best Practices, policies, and procedures, as well as boundary-breaking issues.

  • In the event that we are unable to accommodate a timely transfer request (ex: the workshop you requested is full), we will hold a credit for you towards a future workshop.

  • You may still receive communication for the workshop you withdrew from as a function of our software, but please disregard it. We are working to correct the issue.

All Digital Workshop participants and Workshop Weekend participants must be at least 18 years of age.

By registering, the registrant confirms that the participant and all other parties present are at least 18 years of age. Theatrical Intimacy Education instructors are not responsible for verifying the age of participants. They are not liable for minors encountering the material in a workshop or any other format, regardless of the state or locality.
