TIE understands every actor brings something different to the process. Actors and Intimacy explores the techniques Intimacy Choreographers and Coordinators can use to collaborate more effectively with actors.

Topics covered include integrating IC techniques into the broader working group, collaborating with actors who are nervous about working with an IC, addressing power and privilege disparities among actors, and optimizing logistics to better support the entire team.

Participants are encouraged to come with questions for discussion.

We understand that things are tight now, but we want to ensure you have access to support and high-quality training. We proudly offer tiered pricing to ensure high-quality training for all participants, regardless of economic circumstances. Please pick the price point that best reflects your training budget. If you can afford a higher tier, please consider purchasing it to save a spot for someone with a more limited budget.

All participants receive the same 3-hour workshop regardless of price.

We cannot offer refunds. However, if you need to make an exchange for credit or transfer to another workshop, a small administrative fee will apply. Please notify us 14 days before your scheduled workshop. Click here for details.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer recordings. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the Zoom link one day before the workshop. 

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, thereby maintaining educational quality for all. If you have taken another workshop with Theatrical Intimacy Education and would like to discuss which Digital Workshops may be right for you, please reach out!

While we will do our best to assist you, we cannot guarantee a response to requests for workshop links or access information received less than one hour before the training begins. Requests submitted within one hour of the start of a workshop are not eligible for transfer credits if access information was not received because the spam, junk, or promotions folder was unchecked.
