Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE)
Intellectual Property and Credentials Authorization Policy
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to protect the integrity of Theatrical Intimacy Education's (TIE) educational programs, diplomas, curriculum, educational materials, potential certifications, and intellectual property by establishing the requirements under which TIE credit may be offered by external organizations.
Policy
Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE) is the sole authority authorized to approve organizations to offer credit toward TIE courses, certifications, diplomas, educational pathways, or other TIE credentials.
No educational institution, training organization, business, or individual may advertise, represent, imply, award, or offer TIE credit without the express written authorization of Theatrical Intimacy Education.
Accredited colleges, universities, conservatories, and other educational organizations wishing to offer TIE credit must first enter into a formal articulation or partnership agreement with TIE. All proposed courses, instructors, curriculum, learning outcomes, assessment methods, and instructional materials must be reviewed and approved by TIE before any public announcement or offering of TIE credit.
Approval is granted solely at the discretion of TIE and may be subject to ongoing quality assurance, instructor qualifications, curriculum review, and compliance with TIE standards and policies. Authorization may be suspended or revoked at any time if these standards are not maintained.
Any organization or individual that advertises, represents, or awards TIE credit without TIE's prior written authorization is acting without the knowledge or consent of TIE. Such representations are not recognized by TIE and may mislead students, institutions, and the public regarding the relationship between that organization and Theatrical Intimacy Education.
The name "Theatrical Intimacy Education," "TIE," TIE's logos and branding, curriculum, educational materials, certification pathways, and related intellectual property are the exclusive property of Theatrical Intimacy Education. Trademark applications for TIE's identifying marks are pending. Unauthorized use of TIE's name, logos, branding, curriculum, educational materials, certification pathways, or any representation that suggests affiliation with, endorsement by, or authorization from TIE may constitute infringement or other violations of TIE's intellectual property and proprietary rights and may result in legal action or any other remedies available under applicable law.
