Kedren Werner, Apple TV/Sony/FX/Hulu Intimacy Coordinator

KEDREN WERNER (SHE/HER)

Kedren Werner has worked as an intimacy coordinator since 2022. She has credits in television (AppleTV, Sony, FX, Hulu) and independent films. An inveterate SAG-AFTRA and the PGA member, Kedren has worked in front of and behind the camera in television and film for most of her life.

Before working as an intimacy coordinator, Kedren was the head of production/ co-president at Anaid Films for Diana Ross, Development Executive at Disney for David Manson’s Saraband Productions, Producer/Executive in Charge of Production at Paramount Pictures and NBC Productions for Stan Rogow Productions. At the beginning of her career, Kedren worked at Columbia Pictures alongside her uncle, Ike Jones, "the first person of color allowed to produce a major motion picture”. She was also given the opportunity to work as an on-set producer, casting, and in other departments. She went on to work with different production companies in other productions, notably as Assistant Producer for Northern Exposure with Universal Studios. In addition, she worked closely with her late husband Peter, developing, producing, and acting in projects.

From a young age, Kedren fostered her talents on stage and in film, training with A.C.T. (American Conservatory Theater), Yat Malmgren Drama Center London, Stella Adler, Bobby Lewis, and more. She continues to seek education and training in techniques focused on the complexity of expression in human behavior based in a holistic approach: Lucid Body, Joan Schekel, Viggo Venn & Zak Zucker, UCB, and world-renowned improviser Will Hines of WGIS, where she consults.

Kedren has served on various boards of directors of private education institutions and at Stand-Up to Cancer. Along with her family, she continues to be involved in and support the community health centers founded by her parents, Dr Shirley and Dr.James L. Jones, located in the Watts/ Compton area of Los Angeles, and named after her, Kedren Health. 

She is also an awesome mother to her wonderful son, James.
