This TIE workshop helps directors understand how to integrate Best Practices’ tools into all aspects of direction, beyond moments of physical intimacy. The workshop will discuss establishing a consent-based space and normalizing boundaries from the casting process through production. We will also discuss when a director needs or wants to hire an intimacy choreographer/coordinator, and how to foster a productive, positive collaborative process.

Pricing $80

We cannot offer refunds. However, if you need to make an exchange for credit or transfer to another workshop, a small administrative fee will apply. Please notify us 14 days in advance of your scheduled workshop. Click here for details.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer recordings. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the Zoom link one day before the workshop. 

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, thereby maintaining educational quality for all. While we will do our best to assist you, we cannot guarantee a response to requests for workshop links or access information received less than one hour before the training begins. Requests submitted within one hour of the start of a workshop are not eligible for transfer credits if access information was not received because the spam, junk, or promotions folder was unchecked.
