TIE loves stage managers: their documentation, organization, and planning. Stage managers play a crucial role in a consent-based process. This workshop is designed to teach you how stage management supports intimacy in the rehearsal and production process. We will discuss the role of stage management in pre-production, scheduling, communicating intimacy choreography rehearsals, documenting best practices, running an intimacy call, and supporting understudies. Additionally, TIE will outline what to expect when working with an intimacy choreographer.

All participants receive the same 3-hour workshop regardless of price.

We cannot offer refunds. However, if you need to make an exchange for credit or transfer to another workshop, a small administrative fee will apply. Please notify us 14 days in advance of your scheduled workshop. Click here for details.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer recordings. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the Zoom link one day before the workshop. 

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, thereby maintaining educational quality for all. If you have taken another workshop with Theatrical Intimacy Education and would like to discuss which Digital Workshops may be right for you, please reach out!

While we will do our best to assist you, we cannot guarantee a response to requests for workshop links or access information received less than one hour before the training begins. Requests submitted within one hour of the start of a workshop are not eligible for transfer credits if access information was not received because the spam, junk, or promotions folder was unchecked.
