TIE Faculty Associate Member Kaja Dunn will lead a workshop on the impact of race on physical storytelling and the considerations required to choreograph culturally competent intimacy.
This is an advanced workshop. Before attending, participants must complete the Best Practices and Foundations in Race, Intimacy, and Consent Workshops.
*NOTE: THE INSTRUCTOR FEELS IT IS IMPORTANT TO ALLOW TIME BETWEEN TAKING “FOUNDATIONS IN RACE, INTIMACY, & CONSENT” AND “RACE & CHOREOGRAPHY.” PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THESE TWO COURSES ON THE SAME DAY.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we do not currently offer recordings. There is no waitlist for Digital Workshops. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to maintain educational quality.

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop, e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's approach and vocabulary, thereby improving educational quality.
