This workshop will cover the role of the Intimacy Choreographer for live theatre performances. We will explore pre-production and production processes; clarify the role of the intimacy choreographer/director; introduce physical storytelling techniques; discuss everyday recipes; collaborate with the team; transcribe and document intimacy; and address troubleshooting.

All participants, regardless of price, receive the same 6-hour workshop.

We cannot offer refunds. However, if you need to make an exchange for credit or transfer to another workshop, provided you notify us 14 days in advance of your scheduled workshop, a small administrative fee will apply. Click here for details.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we do not currently offer recordings. There is no waitlist for Digital Workshops. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the link one day before the workshop. 

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (i.e., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's approach and vocabulary, thereby improving educational quality.
