TIE understands every actor brings something different to the process. Actors and Intimacy explores the techniques Intimacy Choreographers and Coordinators can use to collaborate more effectively with actors.

Topics covered include integrating IC techniques into the broader working group, collaborating with actors who are nervous about working with an IC, addressing power and privilege disparities among actors, and optimizing logistics to better support the entire team.

Participants are encouraged to come with questions for discussion.

If you can afford a higher tier, please consider purchasing it to save a spot for someone with a more limited budget.

All participants receive the same 3-hour workshop regardless of price.

We cannot offer refunds. However, if you need to make an exchange for credit or transfer to another workshop, a small administrative fee will apply if you notify us 14 days in advance of your scheduled workshop. Click here for details.

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer recordings. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the link one day before the workshop. 

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, thereby maintaining educational quality for all.
