Amelia Morse (she/her) is an Intimacy Director and Coordinator, Acting Coach, and founder of The Morse Actors Studio, dedicated to consent-based, trauma-informed practices for stage and screen. She holds an MA and MFA in Theatre (Acting) from Lindenwood University, is a certified Artistic Mental Health Practitioner, and has completed training with Theatrical Intimacy Education and Intimacy Directors and Coordinators.
Her recent credits include Blasted at Benchmark Theatre, Cabaret and Torch Song Trilogy at Vintage Theatre, Dracula at the University of Southern Indiana, The Prom at The Arts HUB, and Seams with The Agenda Theatre. Amelia has also collaborated with Stage Door Theatre, Blunt Force Drama, Cheyenne Little Theatre Players, and numerous youth and high school theatre programs across Colorado. On screen, she served as intimacy coordinator for the SAG-AFTRA feature films The Man Who Changed the World and Pleasure Chest.
In addition to her production work, Amelia leads workshops on boundaries, consent, and intimacy direction, and coaches actors through her studio, The Morse Actors Studio. She is a proud member of Women in Film Colorado and the Colorado Theatre Guild, where she serves on the Workshops and Events Committee. Amelia regularly partners with organizations including the University of Southern Indiana and Colorado Community Theatre Coalition to foster safe, inclusive creative spaces. As Assistant Faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education, she is passionate about supporting artists’ autonomy and well-being.
