Note: the instructor feels it is important to allow time between taking ‘Foundations in Race, Intimacy, & Consent’ and ‘Race & Choreography’. Please do not take these two workshops on the same day.

TIE Associate Faculty Kaja Dunn will lead a workshop on the impact of race on physical storytelling and the considerations for choreographing culturally competent intimacy.

This is an advanced workshop. Before attending, participants must complete the Best Practices and Foundations in Race, Intimacy, and Consent Workshops.

Pricing $80

Space in Digital Workshops is limited to ensure the best experience for our participants. Workshops are live; we currently do not offer recordings. Classes are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and class sizes are limited to ensure educational quality.

After you complete your registration, you will receive an email with additional information and helpful links. You will receive an email with the Zoom link one day before the workshop. 

The Best Practices Digital Workshop or a comprehensive TIE workshop (e.g., Workshop Weekend) is a prerequisite for most other Theatrical Intimacy Education Digital Workshops. This ensures that all participants are familiar with TIE's specific approach and vocabulary, thereby maintaining educational quality for all.
